36 NEEX, celebrity photographer who has photographed musicians such as The Game, G Eazy, Post Malone, Demi Lovato, and more, is hosting his monthly youth workshop, where he will introduce basic photography skills to underserved youth. The workshop, titled ‘Neex and friends,’ mission statement is

“To teach photography and media arts to the youth, and spark their passion that leads to an opportunity to develop and or pursue creating as a career.”

Says 36 Neex about the workshop, “Teaching younger kids about photography to spark their passion in it is my goal. I wish I started earlier in my career and I want to be able to give that opportunity to the youth. Hopefully they can soak in this knowledge and get a head start!” Neex hopes to continue with the momentum of the program and expand to different cities and states across the country.

During the workshop, 36 Neex will teach kids the basics of digital photography, including the ins and outs of how to use a camera. Other topics will include diversity within photography and pursuing creative careers, which will serve to show the participants that anyone can pursue photography regardless of age, race, or gender.
